Rep. Mike Levin, currently serving California’s 49th district in the U.S. Congress, has been vocal on various issues through his social media presence. His recent posts address topics ranging from Medicaid cuts to administrative decisions affecting federal employees.

On February 18, 2025, Rep. Levin criticized Congressional Republicans' plans regarding Medicaid: "Congressional Republicans want to cut Medicaid to give tax breaks to billionaires and giant corporations. They are telling working families, seniors, and people with disabilities that it is OK for them to get sicker so that billionaires like Elon Musk can get even richer."

In a post dated February 19, 2025, he expressed concern over funding cuts for medical research: "Andrew is one of the thousands of people in our community hoping for a cure. The administration’s decision to cut funding for medical research hurts Andrew, his family, and the countless others in our community just like him."

Later on February 19, 2025, Rep. Levin commented on actions by former President Trump and entrepreneur Elon Musk regarding federal employment: "Incompetent chaos from Trump and Musk: They’re firing 'probationary' federal employees—but either don’t realize or don’t care that this includes people recently promoted to be managers or supervisors who are doing a good job. This isn’t efficiency; it’s reckless and dangerous."
