Rep. Mike Levin shares views on Roe v. Wade and Medicaid cuts

Rep. Mike Levin, who has been serving California's 49th district in the U.S. Congress since 2019, shared his views on several issues through a series of tweets on February 21, 2025. Born in Inglewood, California, and currently residing in San Juan Capistrano, Levin holds degrees from Stanford University and Duke University.

In a tweet posted at 20:25 UTC on February 21, Rep. Levin expressed his opinion regarding the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade: "Roe should have never been overturned. Women around the country are paying the price."

Later that day at 21:25 UTC, he addressed fiscal policies proposed by Congressional Republicans: "Reminder that Congressional Republicans want to cut Medicaid so they can give tax breaks to billionaires and big corporations."

In another post made at 23:56 UTC, Rep. Levin celebrated the dedication of a post office building in honor of Charlesetta Reece Allen: "I’m grateful to honor Oceanside trailblazer, Charlesetta Reece Allen. The post office on Seagaze Drive has been formally dedicated as the 'Charlesetta Reece Allen Post Office Building.'"
