Rep. Mike Levin, who represents California’s 49th district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared his views on a variety of topics through a series of tweets. A Stanford and Duke graduate, Levin has been serving since 2019 after succeeding Darrell Issa. The tweets addressed subjects ranging from cryptocurrency to healthcare policy.

On February 20, 2025, Rep. Mike Levin tweeted about his recent appearance on the Brogressive Podcast where he discussed several issues including cryptocurrency DOGE, inflation, foreign policy, and baseball. He invited followers to listen to the podcast episode by providing a link: "ICYMI: I spoke with @BrogressivePod to break down all things DOGE, inflation, foreign policy, and even baseball."

Later that day, Levin expressed his concerns regarding Elon Musk's involvement in veterans' health care via another tweet. He criticized Musk's actions comparing them to his management of Twitter and emphasized the seriousness of dealing with veterans' lives and their private information: "Elon Musk has no business interfering in veterans’ health care. The VA is not his plaything. This is not a company he can take over and break apart like he’s done with Twitter."

In another tweet on February 20, 2025, Levin addressed the issue of proposed Medicaid cuts by Congressional Republicans amounting to $880 billion intended for funding tax cuts for billionaires. He shared his efforts in advocating against these cuts during a visit to Vista Community Clinic: "Congressional Republicans want to slash $880 BILLION from Medicaid to pay for tax cuts to billionaires."
