CITY OF OCEANSIDE: Medicinal Plants of San Diego County to be held November 6

City of Oceanside issued the following announcement.

Medicinal Plants of San Diego County

The Payomkawichum and most San Diego tribes believe plants, trees and animals are the First People. This presentation is an introduction to some of those original people, now called medicinal plants. Their medicine and gifts to the people are as valuable as they have been since time immemorial.

Ami Admire, Director of the Rincon Youth Storytellers, is Payomkawichum (formerly known as Luiseno) from the Rincon Indian Reservation. She is a 2019 recipient of the National Indian Health Board's Local Impact Award.
