On April 11, 2025, Levin questioned the timing and awareness regarding former President Trump's decisions on tariffs. He expressed concern about potential market abuse due to the "Trump-caused market chaos" and emphasized the need for transparency among fellow lawmakers: "Who knew Trump would cave on tariffs and when? I’ve called for all Members of Congress to immediately disclose all trades in the market over the last week. The Trump-caused market chaos is ripe for abuse. The public deserves answers."

Later the same day, Levin shifted focus to the state of Social Security amid impacts from the currency DOGE. Levin, who was born in Inglewood, California, earned a BA from Stanford University and a JD from Duke University. He currently resides in San Juan Capistrano and has been active in political discourse, focusing on issues relevant to his constituents.
