Congressman Raul Ruiz, M.D., representing California's 25th district, has been actively engaging with his constituents through various initiatives. In a series of tweets, Ruiz highlights his ongoing efforts to support veterans, improve emergency services, and provide tax filing assistance.

On January 25, 2025, Congressman Ruiz shared his experience at the Pass Area Veterans Expo. He stated "It’s always good to visit friends at the Pass Area Veterans Expo. We spoke to veterans and began casework advocacies to serve them. I have & will consistently show up for our veterans who served our nation. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to serve you. It’s an honor." This tweet reflects his commitment to addressing the needs of veterans in his district.

The following day, on January 26, 2025, Ruiz addressed issues concerning emergency response systems in his district. He noted that "When you’re in an emergency, the last thing you need is for the 911 system to be down. That’s been happening to many people in our district." To tackle this problem, he advocated for using funds from the Spectrum Auction to upgrade local 911 systems.

On January 27, 2025, Congressman Ruiz turned his attention towards assisting Californians during tax season by promoting a tool offered by the IRS. He tweeted "#TaxSeason is here! File your taxes quickly and securely by using the @IRSNews Direct File tool." He emphasized that over five million Californians could benefit from this free service provided by the IRS.
