Representative Mike Levin recently took to social media, sharing a series of tweets concerning his political activities and reactions to recent events. Levin, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress, representing California's 49th District since 2019, continues to be active in key matters affecting his constituents.

On April 16, 2025, Levin posted about his continued efforts towards ensuring the security and stability of Social Security. In his tweet, he shared an article titled "Rep. Mike Levin Combats Threats to Social Security”, highlighting his ongoing legislative focus on this vital public program.

Later that day, Levin expressed his condolences and concerns regarding a tragic incident involving personnel from Camp Pendleton. He tweeted, "Praying for the loved ones of the two Marines from Camp Pendleton who died in yesterday’s crash near the Southern Border. Hoping for a full recovery for the third. I’ve requested a briefing to understand what happened and how we can prevent future tragedies." This reflects his commitment to understanding the circumstances and preventing future fatalities.

Further, on April 16, 2025, Levin addressed economic policies in a tweet opposing tariffs. Levin replaced the previous U.S. Congress member Darrell Issa in 2019 and is known for his educational background, having graduated from Stanford University in 2001 with a BA, and earned a JD from Duke University in 2005.
