Rep. Mike Levin, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing California's 49th district, recently posted several statements on his social media platforms addressing the actions and policies of the Trump administration. With a background in law and a strong educational foundation including degrees from Stanford University and Duke University, Rep. Levin has been vocal about his positions on various administration policies.

On March 30, 2025, Rep. Levin critiqued former President Donald Trump's proposal to exempt specific companies from pollution regulations, questioning the financial influence behind such decisions. He queried, "Trump wants to personally exempt certain companies from pollution regulations. How many of these companies paid $5 million to have dinner with Trump at Mar a Lago?"

In a subsequent post on April 1, 2025, Rep. Levin addressed the impact of tariffs imposed by the Trump administration. He commented, "Trump is saying the quiet part out loud. He never cared about lowering costs, and he 'couldn’t care less' that his tariffs will raise your prices. In pursuit of half-baked policies, this administration will make you pay the price."

Continuing his critique, on April 2, 2025, Rep. Levin noted a contradiction in the promises and policies of the Republican Party. He stated, "Republicans spent months promising to lower costs for everyday Americans. But instead, they keep pursuing an agenda to do the opposite."
