Congressman Raul Ruiz, M.D., representing California's 25th district, has shared a series of tweets reflecting on both personal experiences and political issues. His social media activity provides insights into his views on nature, national monuments, and infrastructure challenges.

On March 15, 2025, Congressman Ruiz expressed his appreciation for the desert landscape. He stated: "I see God’s handiwork in the desert. So so beautiful. That’s one reason I love running in the desert. #MentalHealth".

Two days later, on March 17, 2025, Ruiz addressed concerns regarding the Chuckwalla National Monument. He tweeted: "The Trump Administration has yet to make a decision on the #ChuckwallaNationalMonument. But one thing is certain: if the designation is rescinded, we’ll fight like hell to defend it." He also directed followers to read more about this issue in MyDesert.

Later that day, he reported on a meeting with Southern California Edison concerning power outages and infrastructure issues in his district. In his tweet, he mentioned: "Great meeting with Southern California Edison @SCE to discuss January’s power outages in #CA25, and the Banning Flume situation. We are working together to find real solutions that strengthen our grid and keep our communities safe." Additionally, he criticized an "illegal hiring freeze" by the Trump administration for causing delays.
