Congressman Raul Ruiz, M.D., representing California's 25th district, has been vocal on social media regarding various issues. In a series of tweets, he addressed concerns about education policy, celebrated local agriculture, and discussed legislative priorities.

On March 12, 2025, Congressman Ruiz expressed his disapproval of Project 2025, describing it as harmful to children in working-class and under-resourced communities. He criticized the initiative for attempting to close the Department of Education without congressional approval, stating "This is some Project 2025 bullsh*t that will hurt kids, especially in working class and under resourced communities. Closing the Department of Education without an act of Congress is unconstitutional!"

Later that day, Ruiz shared a lighter moment from his visit to Westmorland, California. He tweeted about enjoying locally grown Medjool Dates from Date Shakes, expressing gratitude for quality local products with "Stopped by #WestmorlandCA Date Shakes to grab some locally grown Medjool Dates! So grateful to have delicious quality products right here in our communities."

On March 13, 2025, Ruiz addressed legislative matters concerning government funding. He stated his commitment to a clean funding extension alongside House Democrats to avoid detrimental cuts and ensure government operations continue smoothly. His tweet read: "Instead of the partisan Republican funding bill, House Democrats and I are committed to a four-week clean funding extension that prevents harmful cuts, keeps the government running, and paves the way for a bipartisan funding deal."
