On November 26, 2024, Congressman Ruiz announced his involvement in securing federal funding for the Alamo River Wetlands Project. "Congrats to #HoltvilleCA for the Alamo River Wetlands Project! I’m proud to have secured $3M in federal funds to clean the Alamo River, enhance the water quality at the Salton Sea, create bird habitats, & build scenic walking trails to boost our communities’ health & well-being."
In another post dated November 27, 2024, Ruiz highlighted National Diabetes Month and recent legislative efforts regarding insulin pricing. He stated: "November is National Diabetes Month. Thanks to @HouseDemocrats, insulin for seniors is now capped at $35 a month. I’ll keep fighting to lower prescription drug costs to ensure that every American can lead a healthy life."
