Rep. Mike Levin, currently serving California's 49th district in the U.S. Congress, addressed several issues on social media, engaging with constituents and discussing federal policy impacts. Levin, who has been in office since 2019 after succeeding Darrell Issa, shared his views through a series of tweets.

On March 7, 2025, Levin responded to a query from a constituent named Kathy from Carlsbad regarding Social Security benefits for individuals aged 150 years. He clarified the misinformation by stating that "The answer is NO. It’s a complete and total lie." Levin invited further discussion on the topic.

In another post dated March 8, 2025, Levin highlighted his constituent Andrew's story during the President’s address. Andrew is recognized as a two-time cancer survivor whose life was significantly impacted by federal medical research funding. Levin used this opportunity to critique former President Trump's proposal to reduce NIH funding by stating: "I invited him to shine a spotlight on Trump’s cruel plan to gut NIH funding."

Additionally, on March 8, 2025, Rep. Levin brought attention to Medicaid cuts proposed by House Republicans through his tweet featuring Fernando, who operates a community health center. The tweet emphasized Fernando's firsthand experience with potential consequences of these cuts: "He knows exactly what will happen if House Republicans slash Medicaid — because he sees it every single day."
