Rep. Mike Levin, who has been serving California's 49th district in the U.S. Congress since 2019, recently shared his views on several issues through a series of tweets. Born in Inglewood, California, and currently residing in San Juan Capistrano, Levin holds degrees from Stanford University and Duke University. His recent tweets touch upon critical topics affecting his constituents and broader political matters.

On March 6, 2025, Rep. Mike Levin expressed concern over potential cuts to Medi-Cal funding in a tweet stating: "Cutting funding for Medi-Cal will take away health care my constituents rely on. In my district alone, that’s over 132,000 people, including 49,000 children and 18,000 seniors. Why are Republicans doing this? To give more tax cuts to billionaires and the biggest corporations."

Following this statement, on March 7, 2025, he tweeted about his meeting with firefighters at Camp Pendleton: "Had a great meeting this week with the firefighters at Camp Pendleton. I’m immensely grateful for all the work they do to keep us and our troops safe."

Later that day, Rep. Levin addressed an issue involving the Army Corps in another tweet: "The Army Corps KNEW the water would never reach LA — but they did it anyway for a Trump publicity stunt. We must demand answers about why they chose wrong over right, wasted billions of gallons, and hurt our farmers."
