On Thursday, May 1, former Rancho Buena Vista High School standout Savannah Coyle’s current college team, the Cal State San Marcos Cougars, won 3-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Cal State East Bay Pioneers.

The game took place at Seawolf Softball Field. This was their fifth matchup against the Pioneers this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Friday, May 2 at 3:05 p.m. at Seawolf Softball Field against Sonoma State Seawolves.
