Rep. Mike Levin, a U.S. Congressman representing California’s 49th district since 2019, addressed his followers on November 6, 2025, with a series of posts highlighting recent political developments and concerns within Congress.

In his first post, Levin wrote, “There’s a lot of news flooding our feeds. Let me catch you up:” (November 6, 2025).

He continued by raising issues regarding the swearing-in of a fellow member: “My colleague, Representative-elect Adelita Grijalva STILL has yet to be sworn in. She’s the 218th signature on the Epstein petition. Instead of swearing her in, Johnson once again claims politics, which leaves us wondering—what is he hiding?” (November 6, 2025).

Levin also criticized former President Trump for his actions during a period of economic hardship for many Americans: “While threatening to play politics with people’s food assistance, President Trump was entertaining his billionaire friends with an expensive Gatsby-themed gala. Families are struggling, but the president chose to party.” (November 6, 2025).

Levin has represented California’s 49th District since replacing Darrell Issa in 2019 and resides in San Juan Capistrano. Born in Inglewood in 1978 and currently aged 44, Levin holds degrees from Stanford University and Duke University.
