Rep. Mike Levin, who represents California’s 49th district in the U.S. Congress, posted on social media about his recent meeting with local health care providers to discuss the impact of proposed Republican cuts to Medi-Cal.
On August 3, 2025, Levin wrote, “ICYMI: I joined local health care providers to talk about the impact of Republicans’ cuts to Medi-Cal on people in our communities. What did I hear? Levin has served as a member of Congress since 2019 after replacing Darrell Issa. He was born in Inglewood, California in 1978 and currently resides in San Juan Capistrano. Levin holds a BA from Stanford University and a JD from Duke University.
