On April 12, 2025, Levin announced his receipt of the Franklin D. Levalley Pillar of Excellence Award from the National Association of County Veterans Service Officers. Levin emphasized his commitment to advocating for veterans, noting, “Since coming to Congress, I’ve made fighting for veterans a top priority, but there’s so much more Congress can do.”

Two days later, on April 14, 2025, Levin shared his experience visiting The Carlsbad Flower Fields with the San Diego County Farm Bureau. The visit underscores his engagement with local agricultural entities in his district.

Later that day, Levin posted about feeling an earthquake and urged residents to take precautions. Levin stated, “Just felt the earthquake and am monitoring. Please exercise caution and be on alert.”

Mike Levin has been serving in Congress since 2019, when he succeeded Darrell Issa. Born in Inglewood, California, in 1978, Levin resides in San Juan Capistrano. His educational background includes a BA from Stanford University and a JD from Duke University.
