Rep. Mike Levin, who represents California’s 49th district in the U.S. Congress, has recently voiced concerns over issues affecting veterans’ healthcare and clean energy policy in a series of posts on his official social media account.
On July 21, 2025, Levin posted about recent developments at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), stating: “The VA is firing tens of thousands of employees under pressure from Republicans pushing privatization. That’s a betrayal of our promise to veterans. Gutting staff means longer wait times, worse care, and less trust. I’m fighting to protect the VA—because vets earned it.”
In another post on July 22, 2025, Levin addressed U.S. energy policy regarding China’s role in clean technology: “When it comes to clean energy, we must not allow China to dominate. It’s bad economics and bad for our national security.
