Rep. Mike Levin, who represents California’s 49th district in the U.S. Congress, used his social media account on March 24, 2026, to address several current political issues and express criticism of former President Donald Trump.
In a post from March 24, 2026, Levin wrote: “Let’s be very clear about what’s happening at airports right now. 50,000 TSA workers aren’t getting paid and hundreds have quit because Donald Trump rejected a deal with bipartisan support to pay them. Now he’s setting up ICE agents, who ARE getting paid, at airports across the”.
Later that day, Levin posted another statement: “This is INSANE. Calling every American who is a member of the opposition party an enemy of the nation is profoundly un-American.”
In a third post on March 24, 2026, Levin commented on the possibility of another presidential term for Donald Trump: “There will be no third term for President Trump, and certainly not one as a reward for an election that was never stolen from him in the first place. This is delusional, and this is not up for debate.”
Levin has represented California’s 49th District since replacing Darrell Issa in 2019 and has lived in San Juan Capistrano after being born in Inglewood in 1978. He holds degrees from Stanford University and Duke University.
