In his first post at 16:20 UTC, Levin commented on the financial activities of former President Donald Trump: “Normally, presidents divest their investments when they take office. Donald Trump started trading more. We have NEVER seen anything like this. Since January alone, Trump has made 3,699 trades worth up to $687 million in companies like Nvidia, Boeing, and Palantir.”
An hour later, at 17:20 UTC, Levin alleged misuse of federal funds by Trump: “Donald Trump is STEALING $1.8 BILLION of your money to pay off his allies and the January 6th rioters he already pardoned. He dropped his own lawsuit against his own IRS to avoid a federal judge who was contemplating throwing the whole thing out, then cut a settlement deal with”
Later that day at 20:29 UTC, Levin addressed an incident involving the Islamic Center of San Diego: “My office and I are aware of the horrifying situation at the Islamic Center of San Diego. We are closely monitoring the situation. Right now, my prayers are with any victims and their loved ones. Every person in this country has the right to pray and worship in peace, without”
Levin has served as representative for California’s 49th District since replacing Darrell Issa in 2019 and currently resides in San Juan Capistrano. Born in Inglewood in 1978 and now aged 44, Levin holds degrees from Stanford University (BA) and Duke University (JD).
