Later that same day, Levin discussed his efforts to defend environmental regulations, particularly concerning California’s air quality. He noted during a speech on the House floor, “I spoke on the House Floor to protect California’s right to clean air. Since the 1960s, our Democratic and Republican leaders have worked to clean up our air. But now, House Republicans want to turn back the clock on the progress we’ve made. Mike Levin was born in Inglewood, California, in 1978 and now resides in San Juan Capistrano. Levin is a Stanford University alum with a BA and a JD from Duke University.
