Rep. Mike Levin, a U.S. Congressman representing California’s 49th district since 2019, has expressed strong opinions and updates through his recent tweets on social media.
On April 14, Rep. Levin described the arson and attempted attack against Governor Shapiro and his family as “despicable”, urging for a condemnation of political violence. He expressed gratitude towards the authorities for detaining the suspect and ensuring the safety of those involved in the incident.
In a subsequent tweet on April 15, Rep. Levin voiced concerns over former President Donald Trump, stating, “My Democratic colleagues and I have some serious questions about Trump’s obvious market manipulation.” Levin indicated a commitment to pursuing these issues until satisfactory answers are obtained.
Additionally, on the same day, Levin announced that applications for Military Service Academy nominations through his office are open. He expressed the honor in nominating students to these institutions, while directing interested parties towards information about the requirements and application process.
Rep. Mike Levin was born in Inglewood, California in 1978 and resides in San Juan Capistrano. He holds a BA from Stanford University and a JD from Duke University.
