On October 11, 2025, he addressed the government shutdown led by Republicans: “We are 10 days into the Republican shutdown and Speaker Johnson still refuses to bring the House back to D.C.

Levin has served as a member of Congress since replacing Darrell Issa in 2019. He was born in Inglewood, California in 1978 and currently resides in San Juan Capistrano at age 44. Levin holds degrees from Stanford University (BA) and Duke University (JD).
