In a subsequent post on April 23, Congressman Ruiz described an engaging week with his constituents, writing, “What an incredible town hall tour. Congressman Ruiz, 50, who was born in Zacatecas City, Mexico, represents a diverse constituency. He has been in office since 2013 after succeeding Mary Bono.
