On April 2, 2025, Rep. Levin expressed his concerns on Twitter, stating, “I joined Spectrum News to discuss how the latest actions from the Trump Admin are gutting the programs and services people rely on. From VA cuts to the DOGE-induced crisis at Social Security offices, Trump and Musk are creating chaos.”
Later the same day, Levin highlighted issues faced by veterans, specifically the difficulties involved in accessing medical care. He remarked, “Veterans already face too much red tape to get the care they need. The LAST thing the VA should be doing is making it harder to book appointments.”
On April 3, 2025, Rep. Levin answered a frequently asked question from constituents during town hall meetings regarding ways to oppose the current administration’s policies. He suggested that remaining actively engaged is crucial. “At my town halls people have been asking, ‘what can I do to fight back?’ Here’s my answer. The most important thing you can do is stay involved.”
