La Costa Canyon High School standout Braden Mazone’s collegiate team loses game in the NCAA Division III Baseball Championship on Friday, May 16

On Friday, May 16, former La Costa Canyon High School standout Braden Mazone’s current collegiate team the Washington Bears lost 10-9 against the Ohio Northern Polar Bears in the NCAA Division III Baseball Championship.

The game took place at Nicolay Field at 11 a.m. and was the first matchup against the Ohio Northern Polar Bears in the tournament.

The Washington Bears’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 2:30 p.m. at Nicolay Field.
