Encinitas residents paid property taxes equal to 0.5% of their home’s value during the fourth quarter of 2025, which is less than 0.6 times the national average, according to BlockShopper.com.

Data shows that the median sales price for homes in Encinitas in Q4 2025 reached $1,675,000, based on 37 transactions in that period. The city’s median 2025 tax bill was $8,518, equaling 0.5% of the median assessed value for taxed homes.
