Eli Della Bitta, former La Costa Canyon High School standout’s collegiate team plays on Saturday, May 17 in the NCAA Division III Baseball Championship

On Saturday, May 17, former La Costa Canyon High School standout Eli Della Bitta’s current collegiate team the Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens lost 10-9 against the Whitworth Pirates in the NCAA Division III Baseball Championship.

The game took place at Alumni Field at 8:30 a.m. and was the first matchup against the Whitworth Pirates in the tournament.

The Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 3:30 p.m. at Ben Hines Field.
