Ruiz has represented California’s 25th district since replacing Mary Bono in Congress in 2013. He is known for prioritizing constituent services such as veteran outreach events. Born in Zacatecas City, Mexico in 1972, Ruiz currently resides in Indio. He holds degrees from UCLA (BS) and Harvard University.
