Congressman Raul Ruiz, M.D., representing California’s 25th district since 2013, recently shared several updates on his official social media account. Born in Zacatecas City, Mexico in 1972 and a graduate of both the University of California, Los Angeles and Harvard University, Ruiz has been active in highlighting local achievements and legislative initiatives.

On May 12, 2025, Congressman Ruiz tweeted about the Congressional Art Competition held in his district. He expressed admiration for the artistic talents of high school students from California’s 25th district and congratulated Cassandra De La Rosa from San Jacinto High School for winning first place.
