On Friday, March 21, former Carlsbad High School standout Trent Nielsen’s current college team, the Colorado Mines Orediggers, lost 20-8 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Metro State Roadrunners.

The game took place at Assembly Athletic Complex. This was their first matchup against the Roadrunners this season.

The Orediggers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at 12 p.m. at Assembly Athletic Complex against Metro State Roadrunners.
